UGG Jimmy!

So I love Jimmy Choo, obviously, but this is a bit too much.
I lived in Sydney for a year and lemme tell you, UGG boots are not meant to be worn as shoes, but someone in America decided they were trendy shoes and is making a fortune.

Why didn't I think of that?

Lulu Spencer's Weisman's

OMG! Two weeks ago, Lulu Spencer was wearing THEE most fabulous pair of raspberry platform 4 inch heels on General Hospital. I am more connected than Verizon so after like a minute of trying I got in touch with the head of costuming and sent her an email. She was so nice, she found me the make, model number and even where she bought them.

I plunked down, credit card in hand! Ready for action if you ask me. Only to discover that I can not find these shoes anywhere!

I am soooo sad. I need them. I really need them, like a fish needs water, I will die without them!

Help me find them!!

Jimmy Choo Having a HUGE sale!

My shoes that I love and have to have, have gone down even more this week. I am so excited!! Yay! Jimmy Choo-just go down 200 more and they are mine!!!

OMG! FINALLY! OM SALE!!

My favorite pair of Jimmy Choos from the "Cruise Collection" is FINALLY on sale! Down from $1,295 to $995 in April, I went in yesterday and they are now only $695!

OMG I am so excited. My hope is that in another month or two they will hit the bargain price of $295-ISH.

I love these shoes so much!!

Right now though, it would be: buy an iPad, go see my family back east, my taxes, rent or these shoes-so I am still waiting...but I LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUV them!

My Feet Are Happy

Some days we gals need heels & fun girly shoes and some days we need comfort!

Today was a comfort day. I got a pair of THEE most comfortable flip flops on the planet!


NIKE does is again. I am not a huge fan of the flip flop, but sometimes a gal just needs to give her feet a break and this is California.

I also needed new running shoes and found these adorable, pink Saucony GRID trainers at DSW, for a huge discount!



They may not be sexy, but my feet are happy! :0)

I don't really have much to say today, except Happy Friday and where is the real version of this gorgeous shoe?

Shopping At The Eye Doctor & Helping the Economy!

Who knew? So today I innocently went to the eye doctor and was flipping through a magazine and I saw these! I knew that I had to have them immediately. . .so yay!! Just found them online, ordered them and they will be here in time for whatever fabulous summer event, or lunch I go to next week.

So I guess getting your eyes checked is really a good thing! If I hadn't gone in, I would never had found these gorgeous summer gems!

Today I did my part to help the economy. I bought new frames -which I look killer in-if I do say so myself-and fabulous new summer wedges!

Shoes for Writing~

On a warm December day in 2009, I had a meeting with my agent, and while I was waiting for him, I found these little gems!

I love them, but don't often have the right occasion to wear them out, so I keep them on when writing.

Especially when writing "chick-lit" I like to have pretty shoes on to inspire great stories.

These red numbers have made it to a few agent meetings and one at George Clooney's production company and they love to be worn around the house!

I usually steer away from flats as I have short legs and pants are always too long, but these are so cute that I must have them.

A friend of mine just got them and she wore them out to lunch and I was dying, and oddly enough I was in a gorgeous pair of stilettos, but I wanted her comfy flats!

I had to share, because these are so trendy, girly and flat!

Pretty in Pnk!

Summer is here and I have these gorgeous pink wedges! I have only worn them a couple times, but now that pretty floral skirts are all over the place, and soon (next weekend) we can actually wear white pants, jeans, or skirts, these babies are coming out full time!!

Aren't they just so fem, so fabulous and fashionable? LOVE THEM!

To be fair, they are also some of the most comfy shoes I have bought in a long long time!

I know some people worry about hot pink being too much, but if you pair these with white jeans and a pretty floral shirt, or even a white shirt, they will add color to an otherwise boring Upper East Side outfit! I wore these recently with jeans-yes blue jeans-Levi's to be exact, and a turquoise and green shirt and it looked FABULOUS!!

The best part! Because they are wedges, you can walk in them for hours and hours and they don't ever hurt!

Charlotte! Who Knew?

Okay, so I got these. It was really hard as I was torn between these & Miranda. I am such the Upper East and Upper West sides type of gal, so maybe these are the real me? Nah! But they are so pretty and feminine, and PERFECT for weddings, brunches and those days when I want to be ubber girly!

Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte or Samantha? Who Are You?

So are you a Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte or Samantha?

I am a writer, but I swear I am more of a Samantha than any of these other gals if you are talking personality. In my Shoe Dazzle Showroom, they deemed me a Carrie, and I do like that shoe, but really love Charlotte the best of these four, then maybe even Miranda. The great thing about Shoe Dazzle is that you can call them up and ask them to send you any shoe you see!

Just As Nice Inside As Out!

LOVE THEM!! Love these so much! I was "innocently" shopping with my friend and these caught my eye. I picked them up and fell in love with their soft inside and stylish buckles. The heel is the perfect height and I wear them everywhere.

I kinda feel like I am cheating on my other boots, but these are my favorites for sure. They look fabulous with jeans. They look cute with skirts, and sexy with leggings! They are perfect.

AND guess what? They didn't set me back a car payment like I thought they would when I first saw them. They were reasonably priced which made buying them even easier.

It is like when you meet a gorgeous man and you know he is going to be a wanker, but you don't care because his looks are pulling you in? You know what you are going to get and you go forth anyway with him. Then you are happily surprised that he is not a jerk, but actually just as amazing on the inside as he is on the outside? This is how it was with these gorgeous boots!

Got these on a night when I was supposed to be home working, but my friend and fellow shopaholic-shoe-a-holic-asked me to go with here to get some shoes.

Now, I had been in the store with her the day earlier and there wasn't any that I liked, so I thought "no problem, I won't spend any money"-Ha! Does it ever work like that?

As soon as I walked in, I saw these and fell in LOVE!

Aren't they cool? They look awesome with my skinny jeans and even with some skirts. They are bright, fun and different!

I scooped them up immediately and they are making their debut from my closest this weekend! I can't wait.

DSW is my happy place and with rewards all the time, they make it really easy to have a fabulous shoe stock in your own home! :0)

This month Shoe Dazzle-a fabulous shoe club-has teamed up with Nancy Davis to fight MS. They created this shoe-the Nancy-while it isn't my style, I love that they are doing this! What a great cause.

I am not really interested in marriage, love dating too much and as a fabulous single girl, that is my right, but look at these shoes? I may have to get engaged, just to get to wear these, because they would definitely make walking down the isle an event for me!

Does the guy have to be there? Can't I just marry Jimmy Choo's Choos?

All my friends and family can come and instead of lavish wedding gifts, they can buy me Choos. I'll walk down the isle and I will promise to love my Choos in sickness and in health til death do us part and then there will be an amazing party with adorable Choo favors and all my girls will be there in support!

I usually don't love beige shoes, but these are stunning! I am heading out to Beverly Hills to try on a pair later today. Just for fun. The guys in the store know me by name and seem to always welcome me in, even though I never buy anything. I sort of feel bad for them, since the store is usually empty, they must be bored. They let me come in, try on and some day, one day soon, I will make a purchase and everything will change!

Wouldn't I look Fabulous in These?

These are BEYOND gorgeous~ Jimmy has done it again. Look at the beautiful line of the shoe? Imagine yourself walking into a fabulous Hollywood or New York party in these? Heads will turn.

I must have these before holiday season! Or maybe I will just get them for summer award nomination parties-they are coming up.

Then again for the price of one pair of these. I could rent an apartment in New York City on the Upper West Side for a month. Rent a place in Los Angeles for two months. Make 4 car payments, buy umpteen pairs from Shoe Dazzle or Nine West even, pay Uncle Sam taxes owed. . .you get the point.

But can one really put a price on beauty? Or health?

I don't think so. A new shoe is an investment into your future, especially an expensive one like this. Everyone knows Jimmy is awesome. You will feel younger, prettier and thus lowering your heart rate, which will mean you will live longer. Choos are good for your health! Should be their new slogan. Your blood pressure will lower, because will walk slower so everyone can admire you. You will date more, which will make you happier-and everyone knows stress is very bad for you.

I personally think Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Pacific, United, or whoever you use for health insurance, should cover at least one pair of new Choos every year! I mean really, when you feel good, you are good, and everything is right in the world. You would never see a sickly woman walking down Sunset or 5th Ave in these?

Choos promote good health, so I think I may have to buy them, because it is an investment into my life, and I want to be around for a long long time!

On The Fence On These

I love the color-but hate the cork, even though I know cork is back in-seriously? Who decided this? I have been looking at these for a week and am just not sure.

I think they are good because they are: summery, easy to walk in, light, fun, breezy, and pretty

I am not sure because maybe the mesh straps push your feet to one side. UGH what's a girl to do?

The Trouble With Katie Rogers~

A few years ago I met my good friend Des Taylor through MySpace of all things! I am an artist, he is an artist (AND CREATOR OF THE FABULOUS KATIE ROGERS!) well, I did some sketches for him for a contest of Katie in some fun outfits-cuz I love fashion and then we got to talking and what do you know? He is looking for a writer and I'M A WRITER!

So. . .I started writing shorts for him and have three on the Katie Rogers Blog and a few in the book, that was released last summer from Ape Comics!

Flowery Flats!

I usually hate flats!

They do nothing for my legs and they are usually uncomfortable-especially sandals, because they offer NO SUPPORT. I will wear trekkers or trainers for general errands, because even though I know women who do it, wearing stilettos to the grocery store is just plain stupid.

So I was super excited to find these adorable summer sandals this month!
I have worn them three times already and they are extremely comfortable and CUTE!

I have been looking for a cute flat sandal since last summer. I have another adorable pair that I actually found at a Gap (Anna Wintor would die rather than wear something so common-but they were really cute). They are pink with these awesome brown circles on the top. The problem with them is that they are really hard to walk it. The have zero support, and they hang from your feet when you move, so you could even trip easily. Not a great design if you actually want to walk around. Let's face it, the only reason to wear flats is so you can walk, or you would be in your heels!

I am in love with these shoes. I found out from some other girls that they come in other colors as well. I am not the type to buy a bunch of matching styles, but it is good to know. I got these from Shoe Dazzle and for half the price of Borns, they are just as stylish and just as comfortable!

Welcome to My "Chooest" Blog!

Some of you know, well, most of you know, okay, okay, ALL of you know. I am a girl who likes her shoes! I wasn't always like this. I promise. I used to be normal, and just have the staples of trainers, one or two pairs of pumps, black strappy heels-you know the usual.

How boring is that? Especially when there are so many different shoes to CHOOse from!

If you haven't figured it out yet-I love Jimmy CHOO!! I love, Jimmy Choo. A few years ago I wrote a short in the Trouble With Katie Rogers (see my other blog for links) and I put Choos in the title. To be honest, I wasn't as in love as I am now~ Jimmy has the best shoes, but for a real gal like me, they are a little out of my range.

Yes Carrie Bradshaw had nine million pairs of Manolo Blahniks, but on a writer's salary? No way. That is television, this is reality. I am a writer and an artist, so I do the best I can.

This blog is all about shoes! Shoes I have, shoes I want, shoes I need, and just shoes! Choos Choos Choos!

I have been thinking a lot about your shoes and how I can help you help me acquire a pair. (The ones in the photo would be nice!)

I will do you a deal.

If you give me a pair at the discounted rate of 76% off, I will promise to wear them all over town. I will help you get more people into your stores, since every time I am there, the ratio of sales people to customers is off. People need to see a gal like me walking around in fabulous shoes and then they will come.

They will come from all over the Southland to buy the shoes, so by selling me a pair at a lower rate, you will sell tons more and therefore make heaps of unexpected money.
